This is how the increase in contributory pensions will look in 2024 in each province and autonomous community

The revaluation of 3.8% of contributory pensions (retirement, permanent disability, orphanhood and widowhood) in 2024 will cause all provinces in Spain to exceed 1,000 euros in monthly retirement pay on average.

Until now, Ourense was the only province that did not reach that figure, remaining at 983.77 euros, but despite being the one that will increase the least, only 37.38 on average per month, it will reach 1,021.15 euros, according to results from applying the increase confirmed by the Government based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for November (percentage of increase according to the average interannual variation of the CPI between December 2022 and November 2023 in the 12 months prior to December from the previous year, as confirmed by the final inflation data for November 2023 on December 14. The system's average pension, of 1,200 euros, will increase by 638 euros per year.

Aside from other factors, the 3.8% increase in pensions for next year applied to the average amounts for November published by the Ministry shows improvements of up to 65.33 euros in Bizkaia or 64.68 in Álava-Araba, well above those 37.38 euros in Ourense or 39.98 in Lugo, with a national average of 52.35 euros.

By autonomous community, Basque retirees will receive an average of 64.12 euros more per month due to this increase, Asturians 62.40 and Madrid residents 60.49, while Extremadurans will receive 43.75 euros more per month. the Galicians 44.54 and the Murcians 46.86 euros.

Thus, next year the monthly payroll of the average contributory pension and the monthly increase in euros will remain:
