The iPhone 15 goes on sale today: how to buy them cheaper and when they will arrive

A week and a half after Apple presented its new iPhone 15, the apple company opens the sale of its devices, four models that boast a more resistant titanium finish and the USB-C connector, a novelty for Apple but plenty known to technology users.

With more or less improvements compared to the iPhone 14, depending on where you look, what is certain is that like every year, a legion of fans of the brand wait for this day to change their old terminals (some with a year of life ) and renew them for the model that just left the factory. And even though that day is today, buyers will still have to wait a few days, if not months, to get their hands on the shiny new iPhone 15.

Officially, on the Apple website or at official distributors, the only option to get a cheaper iPhone 15 is by delivering the old equipment (as long as it is an iPhone).

Depending on the model you have, Apple discounts more or less money, with the most current and powerful ones being the most valuable when making the change. For example, a user who wants to buy the new iPhone 15 Pro Max by handing over their iPhone 14 Pro Max can discount up to 800 euros, although the condition of the old terminal will depend.

At a minimum, Apple discounts 45 euros for users who hand in their older iPhones, such as the iPhone 7. It's not much, but it's something.

These equipment recycling systems are also possible in operators such as Movistar and stores such as El Corte Inglés, Media Markt or Amazon and it is a good way to sell the old equipment to get a better offer for the new one, being able to choose the highest bidder.

Taking as an example the iPhone 14 Pro Max in perfect condition, in El Corte Inglés they offer exactly the same money as on Apple's official website, 710 euros (when delivering the 128 Gb model), while in MediaMarkt, it amounts to 781 euros . On Amazon, the platform would only give 619 euros when delivering the same equipment.

Another good way to get an iPhone 15 at a better price is by purchasing from operators. This system, which has been in operation for years, has the drawback that as long as the mobile phone is being paid monthly, the user has a permanence with the operator, but it can mean offers, especially on the top-of-the-range models.

For example in Vodafone, although in some models purchasing the terminal with the operator only means a discount of a few euros (4 or 5), in other devices it is possible to reach up to 80 or 85 euros, depending on the rate you have and the iPhone that you want.

As the company itself specifies on its website when you go shopping, some iPhone 15 models will take time to arrive home. Specifically, it is the most powerful, the iPhone 15 Pro, that are delayed the most, since the first units will not arrive until mid-November in equipment such as the Pro Max in titanium or white color.

In the case of the Pro Max in black or blue, users who make their purchases these days will be able to receive the equipment starting October 20.

For their part, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have much shorter delivery times, some of them arriving the first week of October while other devices (depending on color and power) will not arrive until the second week.

In Spain, the devices range between 959 euros for the iPhone 15 with 128 Gb and 1,969 euros for the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1 Tb of storage. Prices are between 50 and 150 euros lower than those of comparable iPhone 14 models.
