Several States in the Midwest of the United States will continue to face severe Flooding. On Monday, large parts of Nebraska and parts of Iowa, Wisconsin and South Dakota were affected.
The National weather service NWS said a "historic" flooding. A Drop in the water levels is not to say, according to advance, for the time being in vision, even more States could be affected.
Because of the snow melt, the water levels had risen already, a severe storm brought in the past week, in addition to snow and rain. So far, local media were reported to be in Nebraska and Iowa, three people were killed. Hundreds of houses and shops were damaged.
In Nebraska reached the flooding at 17 locations record values. The Red cross established ten shelters for the Affected. 54 cities, and four territories of the indigenous people in the state declared a state of emergency. In Iowa was to call for three-dozen counties of the state of emergency. In Wisconsin were the roads blocked, more than 200 people were brought to safety.
U.S. President Donald Trump spoke on Monday of "devastating" floods. The White house was in close contact with the local authorities.
