This Thursday, Alpine announced the appointment of Frenchman David Sanchez as new technical executive director. In particular, he will have “general responsibility for the team’s Performance, Engineering and Aerodynamics subjects,” the brand wrote in its press release. Before adding: “The Frenchman joins the team today and will report directly to Bruno Famin, team principal of the team and Alpine Motorsports director.”

“I am excited about this challenge at Alpine. I'm looking forward to working again at Enstone, where I started my Formula 1 career. This team has always had fantastic people involved and there is so much potential to unlock. An immense task awaits us to improve performance on the track and this type of challenge motivates me,” said David Sanchez.
