Saturday evening, Conor McGregor was present in Saudi Arabia to attend the boxing fights of Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, with a victory for the first named and a loss for the second.
“The Notorious” was notably seen alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, and spoke about his desire to make his return to the MMA cages: “The Saudis are talking to me about facing Pacquiao (in boxing), the UFC is not offers me nothing,” said the Irishman. “Give me something. I was due to return in April 2024, and even in December.”
He then put pressure on the UFC, the main MMA organization: “for everything I have brought to this sport, I sell more than all of them combined, no one in the history of combat sports been treated the way I'm being treated now... They should open the f***ing floodgates for me. I wait. I'm starting to lose my patience."
