Christmas spirit or generosity? Regardless, the Frenchman's gesture testifies to his great class off the field. The improvised Santa Claus did not want to communicate on the subject, so the Fraternelle de Landiras, first club of Jules Koundé, spoke in his place.

“For several months, we have been discussing the needs of the club with Jules’ mother. We meet her often, and each time, we talk about Jules. Jules had wanted to do something for the club for a while. We weren't able to talk about it with Jules. It’s his mother who has been the intermediary since the start of this project,” declared Jean-Luc Léglise, president of the Fraternelle, whose football school was renamed in the name of Jules Koundé in 2018.
