Jean-Philippe TANGUY. - L'Avenir français is proud to have brought back to the National Assembly a truly Gaullist movement, a political force that has disappeared since the betrayal of the 2005 referendum apart from courageous but too isolated personalities. Thanks to the trust of Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, Avenir français has five deputies and dozens of local elected officials. We work in harmony with the National Rally, in particular within the parliamentary group.

Far from the sound and fury, we are helping to show that our project for France embodies the true “arc of reason” when Macronism carries true extremism. What is reasonable in ultraliberalism, this doctrine which believes that borders must be open, that the economy can be moved to the ends of the world, that people can migrate wherever they want? Macronism is a general disorder under a technocratic veneer.

The much-commented “tie strategy” is not a tactic, it actually demonstrates what we are and will be if the French trust us. I think that it is paradoxically this sincerity that disturbs our adversaries.

What is the place of the French Future with the RN and Marine Le Pen?

We put ourselves at the service of Marine Le Pen three years ago, without political agreement. I understand that this is hard to believe as it is so far from usual political practices!

Unlike Emmanuel Macron who is afraid of his shadow, thus paralyzing the state apparatus through courtesies, Marine Le Pen trusts those who want to prove themselves in the service of her political project. At the head of the country, Marine Le Pen's ethic of responsibility would in itself be a revolution more effective than all the consulting firms.

It must also be emphasized that Éric Zemmour's candidacy during the last presidential election had one merit: clearly showing the French which political forces wanted to help Marine Le Pen to govern, and those who preferred to comment on the national decline.

Is Avenir français a right-wing political movement?

Yes, we have always claimed to embody a Gaullist right. We believe that the French are not just looking for order for order's sake, but a just order, guaranteeing shared prosperity and lasting progress.

This “certain idea of ​​France” carried by Gaullism is based on national and popular sovereignty, solidarity and secularism, respect for knowledge and science, faith in a multipolar world and in the equal dignity of all people. nations. These values ​​bear witness to French specificities deeply rooted in our civilization which distance us from conservative or liberal movements in other democracies.

In your opinion, what path should Marine Le Pen take to be elected in 2027?

I think that Marine Le Pen began her path to victory a long time ago, eliminating one by one the obstacles put in her way. Rarely has the destiny of a stateswoman so closely followed the meeting of a destiny and a people.

L'Avenir Français will help to show that France is doomed neither to decline nor to the management of shortage and chaos. For example, this year we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of a continuous budget deficit. We must show the French that this mismanagement is not fatalistic, that the rupture embodied by Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella will allow us to reconnect with the French dream.
