“Têtu”, “Ideat”, “The Good Life”… The magazines of the I/O Media group resold to several buyers

Placed in receivership last fall, the I/O Media press group sees its assets divided into three. The Paris commercial court communicated this Friday the list of buyers of the various magazines acquired over recent years by the entrepreneur Albin Serviant. No takeover candidate offered to acquire all of the shares.

The bimonthly magazines Ideat (design, decoration, architecture) and The Good Life (men's lifestyle) thus join the Prisma Media galaxy. The Vivendi subsidiary strengthens its young luxury and art division.

Formed in 2023, it includes the French edition of the American fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, but also Milk (lifestyle for urban families) and the Côté Maison group, specialist in interior decoration with the titles Côté Sud, Ouest, Est and Paris. It is the latter entity which had filed a takeover file for Ideat Éditions, which has a turnover of 5 million euros and employs around twenty employees. All are covered by Prisma Media.

The Têtu magazine is, for its part, taken over jointly by the associative group SOS and by the Le Refuge Foundation, who wanted to “protect an essential media for the promotion of the rights and representation of LGBT people”. The title, which will continue its diversification (events, training, partnerships, etc.), will be managed by a company with a mission. Finally, Opéra Magazine is acquired by Vendome Publication, publisher of Dreams magazine, specializing in jewelry. Questioned by Le Figaro, Albin Serviant said he was satisfied with this “combination” which places his magazines “in good hands. »
