Revolut launches a tool that invests your money for you

Do you want to invest and don't know how to go about it? Or maybe you just don’t have the time? Revolut has just launched a tool that now does it for you using artificial intelligence (AI). Robo-Advisor offers a fully diversified and personalized portfolio, claims the neobank. To do this, a series of questions must be answered: the investment objective, the investment horizon and risk aversion. Depending on debts, income and expenses, Revolut therefore offers the investment that best matches the customer's profile.

The initial investment amount to access this new service amounts to 100 euros, underlines Revolut. Once the amount is deposited into the wallet, the robot automatically invests it in the market and constantly monitors it. Please note, the use of Robo-Advisor involves annual management fees of 0.75% of the value of the portfolio, invoiced monthly. Furthermore, the client's portfolio automatically rebalances according to market fluctuations, explains the neobank, which specifies that its robot has access to more than 2,200 American stocks, 220 European stocks and 270 ETFs.

Subsequently, customers can set up recurring transfers of a minimum amount of ten euros to their wallet. Antoine le Nel, vice president of growth at Revolut, explains to the Finyear website: “We realized that many of our clients do not have the time to manage a portfolio or invest in individual stocks. In fact, 53% of the clients we surveyed last year said they simply didn't know where to start when it came to investing. We want to give our customers the opportunity to make their money work for them with what we believe to be a tailor-made, stress-free solution.”

A “sustainable” portfolio is being developed. It will allow investment to “support environmental and societal changes” we can read on the Revolut application.
