And as we already told on May 19, Yadea has joined the team of Kymco Spain creating Human Mobility to seek leadership in the scooter segment in our country. And this landing is done with a range of 6 models, one of which is the spearhead: the C1S Pro; an electric scooter equivalent to a 125cc electric combustion.

Red Dot Award in 2020, this scooter is Yadea's battering ram in the Spanish market with which it hopes to conquer, on the one hand, the customer in love with the design-mobility binomial and, on the other, the one who rewards simplicity, because this C1S Pro, It will please both of you.

We got on the C1S Pro in Zaragoza

With a successful 6 kW motor (approximately 8 CV equivalent) with a lateral position anchored to the chassis, a maximum instantaneous torque of 12.5 Nm at the wheel and CBS braking (with a 220 mm disc and a 180 mm rear disc), during In the contact we had with him in Zaragoza, we discovered a scooter of moderate dimensions (1,800mm long and 1,265mm between axles), with a strong personality thanks to the undeniable attractiveness of the curves of its body and some showy optics, especially the back, which imitate the symbol of the brand.

At the controls, the posture is correct, without showing off, with a position of the feet that allows some play in their position and even delay them without disturbing the passenger. The touch of this C1S Pro is very smooth even at the start, something that is appreciated in an electric vehicle since we are used to too many boasts of unnecessary power delivery in the city from a standstill. With it, you ride almost in absolute silence on asphalt (on the cobblestones it is impossible to avoid the annoying rattling) with a surprising progressive delivery in the grip thanks to an efficient electronic management that uncovers the bulk of the thrust, which it has, from the half turn of the fist.

Its two driving modes are extremely differentiated, offering disparate performance and sensations. On the one hand, in SPORT mode, the C1S Pro reaches 80 km/h and maintains a consumption of 46 Wh per kilometer with a total autonomy of 92 kilometers (figures audited by Yadea in this mode) provided by its two batteries (of CATL) offering a total capacity of 2.88 kHh. In ECO mode, the Yadea C1S Pro becomes a vitaminized moped since it increases performance in terms of autonomy, placing the peak speed at around 45 km/h. Two well differentiated urban options.

The seat capacity is correct, although it is not its greatest strength. Under it, if the charger is not carried for recharging without removing the batteries, the helmet will not fit, which, in any case, must be a jet type. A curious note is found precisely under the seat. If you look at the photo you will see a circuit breaker just like the one you have in the light box at home. With it you can block the electrical circuit, leaving the C1S Pro literally hibernating if you wish. Before you point your finger at me because you think I'm crazy because if I do, the opening of the seat will be blocked because it needs electricity, I will tell you that it is hidden in the shield switch, under the bolt that turns to put the scooter in gear, the contact for the key... You only have to insert it and turn the bolt to open the seat. So simple, so effective.

Does the C1S Pro have buts? Maybe a couple of them. The suspensions (a 30 mm fork -with rubber bellows that clashes with the stylish rest of the scooter set- and adjustable double rear shock absorber) are not very absorbent, let's say, this is fine when the asphalt is perfect, but not so much for the cobblestones of Zaragoza or in the construction zone; and regenerative braking that does not need to activate the brakes is missing, while a little more bite in the front would not go amiss so as not to play too much with the rear brake that seeks to lock with amusing ease.

Finally, and being completely honest, being the 'top' of the brand in Spain, I am surprised that it does not have any connectivity or that it has a monochrome LCD (and not a TFT) without a clock and yet it has a USB socket in the huge left glove compartment of the shield or a reverse gear that, being pleasant to have and very smooth, I do not see it as essential.

But of course, it is also surprising that it costs 4,890 euros, a quality-price ratio that is difficult to beat.
