The high mass of cinema begins with the opening ceremony, orchestrated by actress Chiara Mastroianni, Catherine Deneuve's daughter. The ceremony will be followed by the screening of Cédric Khan's opening film, The Goldman Trial, which looks back on the very publicized by Pierre Goldman in the 1970s.

May 18 will be marked by the highly anticipated screening of the latest Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny with Harrison Ford premiering on the Croisette.
