Drama in the North. Singer Anaïs Robin, notably known on TikTok, died on Saturday at the age of 21, in a car accident, the young artist's production team announced on her Instagram account.

The tragic event took place around 4 a.m. in the town of Baisieux, near Lille. Originally from Cysoing (North), the young woman was alone at the wheel when she hit a tree at the side of the road. The emergency services deployed were able to extract the singer's body but were unable to save her.

The Lille public prosecutor's office confirmed the opening of an investigation, specifying that "toxicological analyzes are underway to determine the causes of the accident."

“Anaïs was a person loved and appreciated by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her radiant smile, her kindness and her voice will remain forever engraved in our hearts,” wrote the production team in an Instagram post.

Anaïs Robin was widely followed on the social network TikTok, with 500,000 subscribers, and Instagram, with 140,000 subscribers. His title Another had reached 1.8 million views on YouTube in eight months. On TikTok, his latest video, posted on March 14, has been viewed four million times.
