The "far right" rapper Millésime K, whose tour of France entitled "Patriot" has sparked controversy in many cities, is "not welcome" in Dijon where he is to perform on Saturday, said this Friday the city.
"He is not welcome in Dijon because he is spreading an openly racist and homophobic message of hatred that is completely contrary to the values held by our city," said Dijon's first socialist deputy, Nathalie Koenders, in a tweet. The arrival of the rapper is announced on his site as being “in Dijon on April 15 at 9:00 p.m.”, the ticket office being open. The singer did not respond to requests from AFP.
The Greens of Côte d'Or have for their part asked the prefecture to ban the concert of the "extreme right rapper, known for his openly racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic texts", according to a letter from environmentalists. "Like Grenoble, Lille, Lyon and Montpellier, he is not welcome in Dijon, or even in Côte-d'Or", assure the Greens.
