In Israel, Quentin Tarantino visits military bases to “support the morale of the troops”

He increases his visits to military bases. Last week, director Quentin Tarantino traveled to southern Israel to “support the morale” of Israeli troops who have been fighting Hamas since the start of the conflict, reports BFMTV.

In recent days, the Twitter account of the Israel media War Room published photos of the filmmaker posing, all smiles, alongside soldiers of the Jewish state. “Legendary director Quentin Tarantino visits a base in southern Israel to boost the morale of the defense forces,” he praises. In other videos shared on social networks, we can see the same director posing with residents of the Kibbutz, a province in the south of Israel.

For several years, Quentin Tarantino has maintained close ties with the Jewish state. Although he himself is of Italian and Irish origin through both his parents, the filmmaker married Israeli singer Daniella Pick in 2017. Together, the couple moved to Tel Aviv four years ago. Husband and wife regularly commute between the Israeli city and Los Angeles, where they live with their two children.

The filmmaker regularly reaffirms his love for Israel: “I love this country. The people are adorable. And they seem very happy that I’m here,” he said in an interview with the New York Post. He settled there after filming his film Once upon a time... in Hollywood and never left.

Since the Hamas attacks on October 7, many personalities have supported Israel on social media. In the United States, actresses Nathalie Portman, Gal Gadot and Jamie Lee Curtis have published messages of support for Israeli civilians. More than 1,400 people have been killed on Israeli territory by Hamas. On the Palestinian side, it is estimated that 3,500 people lost their lives in the bombings carried out in retaliation by the Israeli army.
