The commemorative events of the National Holiday Day will thus take place in a new location for the authorities' tribune and with this new route, since, according to the Ministry of Defense, the furniture elements in the area of ​​the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, still under construction, they made it difficult to repeat the military parade there.

The parade begins at the Glorieta del Emperor Carlos V and will end in Colón. Specifically, it begins at the main entrance of the Botanical Garden and will end its route in the Plaza de Colón, a wide stretch that includes the Paseo del Prado and the Paseo de Recoletos, instead of the northern area of ​​the Paseo de la Castellana, which was usual.

The Princess of Asturias returns to the parade after her two years of absence due to high school in Wales and this time she attends in military formation, and will also be present at the subsequent reception.
