Much to the disappointment of the holidays: the Beach was a large byggerod

A hotel stay in Hua Hin in Thailand was, according to the two travelers so badly that they chose to leave it after three days.

They had booked the trip through Sun Tours and should have stayed at the hotel for 12 days.

But it was not at all as described in the advertisements. Here was the promised a beach. It was just not there.

'We have booked a beachfront hotel - nice enough, the hotel is located by the beach - but the beach is transformed into a construction site with noise and us from an army of machines and workers. Neither relaxing or pleasant', writes to the complainant to Package-Board.

Sun Tours would not pay for the complainant's hotelflytning.

the Complainant also made aware of other circumstances that do not fell in good soil.

'in Addition, there was the food, which was not cheap, overtilberedt; lobster and squid cooked beyond recognition - most unpleasant to consume. There was no opportunity for relaxation, since there are in addition some construction noises and us, constantly was a parade of stuffed animals with high children's music', writes the complainant.

Then describes the complainant, how the wizards from the Sun Tours were not helpful in finding a new hotel.

The wizard found, was more expensive, and they would not guarantee the plaintiff that it was not for its own account, so the plaintiff ended up with even finding a cheaper hotel, where they could spend the rest of the holiday.

Sun Tours apologized byggerodet on the beach with, that in the month of January 2019 had been a heavy storm in Hua Hin. It took a large piece of beach next to the hotel, and they therefore had to build it again.

The travelers were off at the end of march 2019, as the Sun Tours had the good time to inform the complainant of the defect in the hotel.

Therefore, determined the Package-the Board 27. February 2020, that the complainant was entitled to a discount in the price of 1500 dollars. As well as compensation for the expense to which the complainant had been to the new hotel. This amount was 6536 crowns.

the Package-the Board of appeal did so for the reason that Sun Tours should have informed the travelers about the beach state and made the complainant aware that they have the right to withdraw from the agreement.
