The absurdity of the whole balcony scenario in 2002 was that Michael Jackson at the time, was in Berlin to receive a special honorary prize for his tireless work to help children around the world. Therefore, it was perhaps even more incomprehensible to many, that his behaviour actually put his own child's life is at stake. It writes the MTV

The british newspaper the Daily Mirror wrote in the headline, 'Mad Bad Dad', which translates to 'Insane poor dad'. The Sun wrote a short and good: the 'you idiot'. And the Swedish newspaper Expressen wrote that Michael Jackson was playing with his own child's life.

Michael Jackson apologized subsequently to the whole world and tried to explain the strange incident. Jackson claimed that he just tried to wave to her fans down on the street with his one hand while he held his son firmly with the other hand. Jackson wrote the following in his apology to the media back in 2002:

'It was a terrible mistake from my side. I have no excuse for what I did. I was caught up in the moment. But I could never ever deliberately dream of bringing my own children in danger.'

The 16-year-old Blanket Jackson, the youngest of the late Michael Jackson's three children. He is reportedly the of the children, similar to his father the most. It is believed his paternal grandfather, Joe Jackson, also.
