The Section Paloise announced this Thursday the extension of the contract of its right pillar Siate Tokolahi until 2025. The latter had an option in his contract, which was therefore lifted by the Béarnais club. “We appreciate in Siate his ability to be a pillar that is both rough and available in the game. Our ambition is to take a step forward together, both on our collective project but also in the development of this ambitious player,” commented Sébastien Piqueronies, the Béarnais manager, in a press release.
For his part, the Tongan international (4 caps), arrived in Pau in 2021 after spending time in particular with the Chiefs and the Highlanders in New Zealand, declared: “I am very pleased to continue with the Section. I feel very good at the club, I feel that I am progressing with the team and I really like the supporters who are superb. I want to continue to grow as a player with this club. I love the city and the region where I feel very good with my family.”
