Rugby: on video, the trailer for “Chasing The Sun 2”, the documentary on the Springboks’ double

After winning the 2019 World Cup, the Springboks unveiled a fascinating “inside” documentary, called Chasing The Sun (available on MyCanal), which showed the Boks' return to prominence and life inside the group. We discovered in particular, through five episodes, the importance of coach Rassie Erasmus, who succeeded in galvanizing his troops. We even see him break the armor when he tells an anecdote about winger Makazole Mapimpi. The staff had decided to include photos of the players' families in their jersey number. Mapimpi only gives photos of himself. Erasmus, in tears, says: “He was asked: 'Why are you doing this?' He replied that he had no one. His brother was dead, his mother and father too. So he was playing for no one…”

A very successful documentary which had met with great success. In the wake of their global double achieved in France last fall, after beating France in the quarter-finals, England in the semi-final then New Zealand in the final (by one point each time), the South -Africans will soon unveil Chasing The Sun 2, again in five episodes. The trailer for this documentary, which promises to be exciting, has just been revealed.
