Ligue 2: Ajaccio and Bordeaux back to back after a match interrupted by incidents in the stands

Ajaccio and Bordeaux were neutralized (0-0) after a match interrupted for almost an hour due to a fight in the stands between supporters of the two teams, Monday at the end of the 3rd day of Ligue 2 at the François-Coty stadium.

The incidents broke out after about ten minutes of play when in the stands some Ajaccio supporters wanted to do battle with their rivals from Bordeaux, banned from traveling to Corsica. Seats were ripped off and a security barrier flew from a stadium stand, according to footage from broadcaster beIN Sports. These incidents resulted in six minor injuries among the supporters, while two stewards were affected, according to the prefecture.

Shortly before the incidents, it was the Girondins who had shown themselves to be the most dangerous, narrowly failing to open the scoring: first via Badji, forgotten by the defense, but who did not aim (6th), then by Pedro Diaz, whose low shot hit the upright while Michel, the ACA goalkeeper, was archibattu (9th).
