Leinster international pillar Cian Healy is doubtful for the Champions Cup quarter-final clash against La Rochelle on Saturday in Dublin, the Irish province announced on Monday.
Healy injured his leg during his team's victory against the English Leicester (36-22) on Saturday in the round of 16.
The experienced left pillar (36 years old, 129 caps), returned at the start of the second period, had on this occasion equaled the record of 110 matches played in the Champions Cup, established by his compatriot and current La Rochelle coach Ronan O'Gara.
He must undergo further tests during the week before a decision is made on his participation in Saturday's match (6.30 p.m.) at the Aviva Stadium.
The three-quarter center Garry Ringrose, injured in a shoulder, is getting closer to a return to competition, while the second row James Ryan, injured in an arm, is already out.
Quadruple European champions, Leinster, the main supplier of the Irish team, were beaten by La Rochelle in the final of the last two editions of the Champions Cup.
