The Spanish tennis champion, writes on Twitter that he has chosen not to stand in the 2020 edition of the american grand slam tournament.

- We know that the contraction tenniskalender is barbaric in the year after four months without tournaments. I understand and thank you for it, is being done to get it (the season, red.) up and running.
This is a decision I never wanted to take, but I have decided to follow my heart, and right now I would rather not travel.
