Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R.-Ga., had her Twitter account frozen Sunday after committing"multiple offenses" on the social media platform.
Reuters reported that Greene turned right to a back and forth with a Georgia election officer.
A Twitter spokesperson told Fox News the Greene's accounts"has been temporarily locked out to multiple offenses of our civic integrity policy." Greene's office did not immediately respond to a email from Fox News seeking comment.
The move to lock Greene from her accounts comes at a time Twitter faced new evaluation over alleged censorship of conservatives.
The right-wing guerilla news outlet Project Veritas published a clip last Thursday given to them with a purported Twitter"literary whistleblower" who covertly recorded opinions by CEO Jack Dorsey to employees.
"We know we're concentrated on a single account right now, but this is going to be much larger than only 1 account, and it is going to go on for much longer than this day, this week, and the next few weeks, and proceed beyond the inauguration," Dorsey said.
Many conservatives found that remark as a indication of what is to come.
Greene declared last week that she is going to be filing articles of impeachment from President-elect Joe Biden a day after the inauguration.
She said her motivation is to stand up to the 75 million Americans that are"fed up with inaction" in government.
