Tunnelbygge stopped – the transport department cancels the contract

– We put the work environment in the first place and then it becomes natural to go their separate ways when one sees that the contractor is not willing to cooperate fully, " says Johan Brantmark.

– legally if the agreement is to apply, so now we go in and take responsibility for the workplace and to ensure the operationally. Then start a project to procure a new contractor.

currently, there is no information about the time and cost implications the terminated contract will mean for the Stockholm Bypass. Johan Brantmark says that you are trying to do everything to minimize the consequences.

– But any consistency is this going to get, now we get to look at it and define what it will be.

The trade journal wrote, among other things, that a fire in connection with tunnel construction could have had devastating consequences and that a labour inspector were injured by a blast from a blasting.
