Danish stjerneskuespiller: - I take a break

The Danish actor Dar Salim, in 2017 among other things, was current in the hitfilmen 'Underworld', puts his career on hold.

- I take a break. I guess you can also call it a long vacation or a standby, if you want it. It means that I will in the next several months do not take on footage or say yes to new jobs, and that I have thanked no to everything that has been offered in 2017, he says, and continues:

- I have the last year been working on three cool projects and had the starring role in a tv series and a feature film, which will be shown in Denmark in 2018. Therefore, it has been such, that I the day after a project had to fly straight to another. I have made recordings both in Spain, in France and in Denmark, so the last eight-nine months, I have had the shots every day. It has been nice and fat, but now I have to gather new forces, says Dar Salim.

According to Dar Salim penetrates he, in particular, to get a little extra time to catch up with neglected duties, and to enjoy themselves with the family.

- I do not feel that I have come down in pace yet, because I'm so very behind with many administrative things. I have so many unanswered mails, I shall have to keep track of, and then there are also things in private, I must have gained, he says, and adds:

- I must of course spend time with my family. It takes energy, when you work so much, as I have done, but I have always focused on having the focus on my son in it here. When I have free, I take home directly to him, and I have not missed having quality time with him. I have a priority, but it will be nice to have more time with him, where I don't need to work right after again.

Dar Salim welcomes also to be able to enjoy the movies and series he is in, without having to think about to prepare for the new recordings.

- It has been a great year for me, so now I want to be present and to celebrate the good times and the good film and the things we have made. I could, in principle, be recordings again now, but I have made a choice that I'm pulling the plug here in 2018, he says.

That, Dar Salim will not make new films in a period of time, however, will not mean that we will not see him on the screen. In 2018 helps, he namely in the TV2 series 'the Warrior' directed by Christoffer Boe, and the film 'Happy People', which is directed by Samanou Acheche Sahlstrøm.
