Kim Kardashian says Kanye West's divorce decision was made after she decided to concentrate on her own needs

Kim Kardashian speaks candidly about the reasons she decided to divorce her husband, KanyeWest.

Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February. They have four children together and were married for seven years. West has made public statements about wanting her back, as well as publicly declaring their relationship as parents, and accusing her for many negative things.

Kim spoke in a cover story of Vogue and explained how turning 40 gave her a new perspective on her life. Kim made the decision that she would focus solely on herself and her happiness. This ultimately led to her divorce.

The reality star said, "For so many years, I did what made others happy." "And I believe in the past two years, I made the decision that I was going to be happy. That feels great. Even if it caused me to change and ended up in my divorce, I believe it is important to be open with yourself about what makes you happy. I've chosen myself. It's okay to choose yourself.

She said, "My 40s are all about being Team Me. I will eat healthy. I will exercise. I will have more fun and spend more time with my children and those who make me happy. I will put down my phone."

Kim shared that she has been surrounded by close friends who empower her to be herself. A new boyfriend is " SNL" comedian Pete Davidson. Without mentioning his name, she spoke of their recent trip to Bahamas, where she had some personal revelations about how to relax and do what is best for her.

She said that everyone had difficulty detaching and finally declared that they were on vacation.

Kardashian's life has its challenges, however. Kardashian and West are now separated but still have four children they must care for together. She admits that it can be difficult to parent four children together, as West constantly calls her out via social media. However, she insists that it is important to keep their kids from getting into all the drama.

She says, "You can be so hurtful or angry at your ex but I think infront of the children, it always has be 'Your father's the best.'" No matter what your personal circumstances, be your parent's biggest cheerleader.

After West posted a series on Instagram, in which he claimed that his ex was allowing his 8-year old daughter, North to use TikTok despite him objecting, this policy was put to the test.

She wrote that Kanye's incessant attacks on her in interviews and on social networks is more damaging than any TikTok North could create. "As the primary caregiver and provider for our children, I do my best to protect my daughter. But, I also allow her to express herself in whatever medium she chooses with adult supervision. It brings me joy.

She said, "Divorce is hard enough for our children, and Kanye’s obsession with trying so negatively to control and manipulate the situation so publicly and negatively is only causing more pain for all." "I have always wanted a supportive and healthy co-parenting relationship for my children since the beginning. It is what I believe is best for them and it saddens that Kanye keeps trying to make it impossible."
She concluded her statement by saying that she wanted to deal with all matters concerning our children privately.
Kim responded with a slew of accusations against West, including one where he claimed Kim believed that he had put a hit on her. Kim did not comment further and West deleted all posts.
