After amputation: Now he loses drastically

The 41-year-old canadian actor Nick Cordero has for several months been fighting for his life after he was infected with the covid-19.

In the middle of april, he got his leg amputated, while he lay in a medical coma. The reason was, according to his wife, Amanda Kloots, the blood-thinning medication he received in connection with the disease.

It is not many days ago, that the wife got the message from the doctors that she should take leave with her husband.

Here she says that Nick Cordero has lost 30 pounds since he was hospitalized in intensive care.

- What is so heartbreaking is that he is so weak. He is so weak that he can not move, and his muscles fades completely secure, she says.

According to the Amanda Kloots could her husband still does not speak, when he woke up from the medical coma in the beginning of may.

- He can't talk because of the inactivity during, and he can not move, because he is so weak, but he is awake, and he is there. He can answer yes and no questions with his eyes, she explains.

But even though, he has finally woken up from the coma, there is still a long way to recovery for Nick Cordero.
