Among the most anticipated productions, the American animated film sequels Vice-Versa 2 and Despicable Me 4. The event presented on Thursday the selection for its 2024 edition which will be held from June 9 to 15.

As for the competition for the Gold Crystal, then Linda wants chicken! , which won in 2023, twelve films are in the running, from France, Japan, Latvia, Australia and China. The Most Precious Goods by Michel Hazanavicius is one of them, and will open the festival, a few weeks after its world premiere in competition in Cannes. Wes Anderson will be the guest of honor at the Festival, which will also have a section devoted to virtual reality.
