The AP funds exclude mining company Vale

Etikrådet notes to the company can be linked to breach of UN's general declaration on human rights, article 3, ”everyone has the right to life, liberty and personal security, the ILO convention (no. 155) concerning occupational safety and the working environment, article 4:2 ”on prevention of the risks that exist in the work environment” and against the UN:covenant on civil and political rights, ”respect for the right to life”.

– During the time that has passed since we went out and expressed our criticism, the funds have followed our opinion and on the day when we recommend that you exclude the company has most, if not all, have already sold off their holdings, " says John Howchin, secretary general of the etikrådet.
