Joaquin Rafael Robles Medina pronouced the Eucharistic Proclamation of Corpus Christi

The Ideal Cinema Theater hosted last Saturday's Eucharistic Proclamation. It was part of the acts and cults that were organized by the Ubetense Section of Nocturnal Adoration to celebrate Corpus Christi. This year, Joaquin Rafael Robles Medina (parish priest of Saint Thomas, Apostle of Ubeda) gave it. The priest, using extensive documentation and reflecting on its meaning, explored the history of the festival in Ubeda. The priest combined the past and the present in an instructive speech that required devotion.

Next June 15, 16, and 17, the activities will continue with the traditional Eucharistic Triduum. It is scheduled at Santa Clara starting at eight in the morning. The general vigil for Corpus Christi will be held on Saturday 18 at ten o’clock in the evening and in the same temple. The solemn feast of Corpus Christi will be held in the Minor Basilica of Santa Maria de los Reales Alcazares on Sunday, at nine o'clock in the morning. There will also be a procession through downtown and the historic center.
