Although Kim Larsen is dead, the interest of nationalskjalden in the highest degree alive.
In each case measured on the demand for his latest album 'Songs from the First Floor', which was released at 00.01 in the night. For the same reason, decided the holder of the pladebutikken Recordpusher, in Odense, to stay open from midnight to 01: 00 and again at 06.00 on Friday morning.
And it was a good decision, it seems.
When I came in the night 23 o'clock, there was only a small handful and waited, and then I thought: 'well, it is being quietly'. But I promise, it was not, explains the owner of the Recordpusher, Bo Ellegaard Extra Magazine and continues:
- When it was midnight, and I had to open, there was a queue far down the street. And I have already sold 200 records and 25 cds. It is absolutely crazy. For comparison, I sell usually 20 copies a week of a release, if it really moves. It beats everything I have tried in the industry. Even when David Bowie died, it sounds.

- We've actually gone and heard it, while we have had open. I think it is damn good. It sounds a bit like the classic 'go Ahead', but the lyrics are of course a little deeper, now that he is not here any more. And it makes me happy, that he would have the record released. There is no question of 'ligrøveri', where someone tries to earn money to publish something that maybe should have been in the drawer.
the Album was recorded over the spring and summer of 2018, and on the album features among others the son of Hjalmer and Ian Eagle, who was His manager.
