The australian actor Darius Perkins, who got his breakthrough in 'Neighbours'series, died Wednesday of cancer. The death was confirmed Saturday.
The typing of a wide range of british and international media - including The Sun, The Mirror, Daily Mail and The Independent.
In the 'Neighbours' played Perkins in the role as Scott Robinson when the show premiered in 1985 on australian Channel Seven.

When the series was later taken over by Network Ten, was Perkins replaced with Jason Donovan.

in Addition to his breakthrough work in 'Neighbours' had Perkins in his career with roles in a number of other popular australian tv shows - including 'Home And Away', 'A Country Practice' and 'The Sullivans'.

Perkins' former 'Neighbours'-colleague David Clencie, who played the role of Kylie's Stylist character Charlene Robinson's cousin, was the last to close to Perkins and tells to the newspaper Herald Sun, he has lost a close friend.
- I'm sad, and absolutely crushed to have lost my companion. We had a great friendship. We were friends to the last, " says Clencie, according to the Herald Sun.
