Lime confirmed the collection of the devices in Zurich and Basel, according to a report in the online portal, watson.ch. Several drivers of Lime-scooters were involved in an accident in the last few months due to software problems, reported watson.ch. In several cases, the front brake of the scooter was blocked at full speed all of a sudden.
"We were made to individual cases with technical difficulties at the brakes carefully," said Roman Balzan, communications Manager at Lime, on Tuesday evening at the request of Keystone SDA. Since safety of the users is the top priority, had been recovered on Monday, all E-scooters in Zurich and Basel.
In Zurich, Lime operates 300 E-scooters, and in Basel the 250. Each individual vehicle will now be according to the Lime checked and its Software. (fal/sda)
