The majority of the trend in Germany, spoken in ARD-Germany is clearly against a previous change at the top of the Federal government: 59 percent of the respondents are of the opinion that Merkel should remain until the next election to the Bundestag in the office - two percentage points more than in December 2018. 37 per cent find that they should make a successor, or a successor in place (-2 points). Here are expected to be the supporters of the AfD is particularly critical. Of them, 79 percent find that Merkel should vacate their place as Chancellor.
