French tennis achieved a cruel 0 out of 6 this Wednesday during the second round of Roland-Garros. Men and women alike, none of the six French representatives managed to win. The last in the running, Leolia Jeanjean, however, had a good shot to play against the lucky loser Elina Avanesyan. Alas, the French first took on water in the first set, lost 6-0 in just over 20 minutes, before resurfacing but without managing to reverse the situation (5-7).
