Paris Saint-Germain will return to Japan for their summer tour from July 22 to August 2, with three friendlies in Osaka and Tokyo, the club announced on Friday. PSG are due to face Cristiano Ronaldo's Saudi team Al-Nassr there on July 25 in Osaka, then the local team Cerezo on the 28th, before a final match against Inter Milan, Champions League finalists, on August 1 in Tokyo. Last summer the French champions also went to Japan for their summer tour, in front of full stadiums, who came to see Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and Lionel Messi in particular, who should no longer be there this summer.
PSG is already well established in the Japanese archipelago with two official stores, one in Tokyo and the other in Nagoya. "Japan is a strategic market for Paris Saint-Germain and this tournament will allow the club to strengthen its presence," said the club's Asia-Pacific general manager, Sébastien Wasels, in a press release. The Parisian club's handball and esports teams will also make the trip.
