Gymnastics: Luke Whitehouse retains his floor title at the Euro, the French in the Top 10

Briton Luke Whitehouse retained his title of European champion on floor on Friday in Rimini (Italy), where French gymnasts Léo Saladino and Jim Zona were ranked 5th and 8th respectively. Whitehouse won with 14.866 points, a hair ahead of Israeli Artem Dologpyat, Olympic champion and reigning world champion (14.833 pts).

Two Frenchmen, Léo Saladino and Jim Zona, were entered in the final. Saladino was able to control his passage with solid content to obtain 5th place (14,066 pts). Sick, Jim Zona was forced to present a program with a lowered level of difficulty, which earned him 8th place with 12.933 points. Neither will participate in the Paris Olympics in three months.
