“Mom, Dad, please don’t die”: in the United States, a nine-year-old child saves the lives of his parents injured in a tornado

The scene took place in the town of Dickson, reports KTVT. As the Baker family tried to reach a friend's storm shelter, their car got caught in the eye of a tornado and was thrown into a tree. The parents, Marvin Wayne Baker and Lindy Baker, were seriously injured but their son, Branson, was miraculously unhurt.

The little boy then encourages his parents. “Mom, Dad, please don’t die. I will come back,” he told his parents, according to the testimony of his uncle Johnny Baker to the American press. Finding his way in the darkness and chaos, the little boy finally managed to warn the neighbors, allowing his parents to be rescued. It was about time, as both Marvin Wayne and Lindy suffered broken backs, necks and ribs.
