Bayern Munich: Peretz, Neuer’s understudy, is injured

Israeli goalkeeper Daniel Peretz, understudy with Sven Ulreich of Manuel Neuer at Bayern Munich, injured his right knee and will be absent for several weeks, the Bavarian club announced in a press release on Saturday.

Arriving at Bayern in the summer of 2023, young international Daniel Peretz (23 years old, 1 cap with Israel) suffered an injury to the “internal ligament of the right knee this week in training”, explained Bayern. The club “must do without its services in the coming weeks”.

Peretz played one match in the colors of Bayern, a 32nd final of the German Cup against 3rd division side Münster (4-0 victory). He is the replacement for Manuel Neuer, alongside Sven Ulreich, in the Munich goals.
