The report highlights how already in September of last year the sector of car rental long term has exceeded the record of one million vehicles in circulation, while the adoption of the block to be unjustified to the circulation of vehicles of the latest generation diesel continues to penalize the models of diesel fuel (-12%, and an altitude that goes from 76% to 66% of the current assets to long-term rental), with the subsequent transfer to the feeds to gasoline and only in small part to those “alternatives”.
in Short, in the face of the uncertainties of the economic scenario, regulatory and political, the clientele of the rental prefers to extend the contracts already signed, rather than thinking about the renewal of the fleet.
The prominent highlighted by the analysis of Aniasa for the exceedance of the threshold of one million vehicles involved in long-term rentals, which highlight that by now, this formula of the use of the car, an alternative to buying, is increasingly appreciated by companies large and small, professionals and individuals.
in The same way it is recorded a positive trend also for light commercial vehicles for rental (213.000), increasingly used in the cities also due to the increase of delivery services related to the growing market of online purchases.
The report has highlighted the fact that the diesel vehicles will continue in the descent of its share of the new registrations in passing from 76% to 66% with the 20,000-unit diesel registered in less absorbed almost all by the choice of the petrol (+18 thousand cars), with a consequent paradoxical increase in CO2 emissions.
The feeds are alternatives rather not take off and remain stable around a market share equal to 10% of the global total (hybrid of 6%, Lpg 2% and 1% electrical and natural gas).
On the front of the registrations, the picture is stable with 213.000 units, and sees in the growing number of city car and of small cars that, along with the cars in medium, make up 75% of the total.
in practice this means that three cars on four registered freight are models of medium-small size, as confirmed by the top ten cars most popular with our customers of long-term rental, with the head in the first 5 positions of the Panda, the Clio, 500X, Ypsilon and Type. (m.r.)
