Known Danish bagestjerne to be in the Melodi Grand Prix

When DR 23. February kicks off for the Melodi Grand Prix, it will be with at least one very familiar face among the dystende participants.

Ekstra Bladet learns that Jasmin Gabay make-up in the annual competition, which this year takes place in the Boxen arena in Herning.

DRs viewers learned Jasmin Gabay extremely well to known in the autumn, when she starred in the seermagneten 'The big bagedyst'. Here reached the colourful singer and skilled baker to the finals, where she was beaten by the young Emil Obel.

Just Emil Obel has Jasmin Gabay developed a close bagevenskab with, and the two were a natural couple, since the DR in christmas, the special christmas and nytårsudgave of kagekonkurrencen.

this is The first time that Jasmin Gabay will perform as a soloist at the Melody Grand Prix, but it is not a completely unknown territory for her. The 31-year-old singer has earlier sung in the choir at the Eurovision Song Contest for Anja, who represented Denmark in the Ukraine in 2017.

Jasmin Gabay sings to daily in the partybandet Le Freak. The band participated in the Danish Melodi Grad Prix back in 2011. The time it was Ditte Marie, who stood in the front of the group and sang the song '25 Hours A Day'.

the Extra Leaf would of course like to talk with Jasmin Gabay about her participation in the Grand Prix, but not surprisingly, she has not much to say.

- I have no comments on it, says the singer, who has previously sung backing of 'X Factor' and in december sang the chorus for the Maria Carey.

Neither do the DRs underholdningschef, Jan Lagermand Lundme, can confirm that the Jasmine is in this year internally.

- But she sings great and will be nice to have, says his cryptic answer.

The ten songs, and the soloists at this year's Melodi Grand Prix will be presented at a news conference 31. January.

the DR has already announced that it will be Johannes Nymark and Kristian Gintberg, who will control the battle.
