Military offensive on Tripoli : air attacks rise of Haftar troops

The Libyan Haftar's militia was attacked according to own data in their advance on Tripoli from the air. The attack was to take place 50 kilometres South of the capital, in the Region of Al-Asisija, informed Haftars LNA (Libyan National army).

The plane was launched after the LNA in the Western Libyan city of Misrata. The troops stationed there are largely loyal to the government in Tripoli.

On Friday, had called on the United Nations, the renegade Libyan General Khalifa Haftar to stop the military offensive on the capital, Tripoli. The UN security Council called on Haftars troops, "all troop movements". Also, the foreign Ministers of the G7 countries called for the immediate cessation of the fighting in Libya and warned that civilians were in danger.
