It was 2016 that the governing parties, the Conservatives, the Christian democrats and the Centre party, wrote in the current energiöverenskommelsen.
On Tuesday evening published a text on DN Debate where Ulf Kristersson (M) and Ebba Busch Thor (KD) announces that they want to see a new energiöverenskommelse. Among other things, they want to see the possibilities to operate the reactors, Ringhals 1 and 2 on. They also want to Sweden and developing a roadmap for moving towards fourth-generation nuclear power.

KD-leader Ebba Busch Thor believes that it is in the industry and the transport sector as the major challenges.
" We have an industry that runs 24 hours a day all year round. Then you can't rely on weather-dependent energy sources, " says Busch Thor.

I did not understand why M and KD went into the energiöverenskommelsen, " says Jan Björklund, adding that he now hopes for a new and broader energiöverenskommelse.

Ulf Kristersson said that the new proposals about nuclear power is not a threat to energiöverenskommelsen.
" We want to take out the questions to the conversations that they need to act on. An agreement has only a value if it creates the long-term vision that they promise.
"Our intention is not to deflate the current energiöverenskommelsen," says Ulf Kristersson.
