Criticized the recruitment of Rekryteringsmyndigheten

Rekryteringsmyndigheten working with recruitment of personnel to the armed Forces, the police and other businesses in the state. Among the agency's employees are 50 psychologists whose task is to examine and evaluate the persons who shall be engaged to the often sensitive services.

"It is embarrassing that this happens at just Rekryteringsmyndigheten," says another.

A psychologist who worked nine years on the authority appealed against the recruitment to the State board of appeal. She had applied for the post when it was first announced in the summer of 2017, and was also called to a recent meeting with the recruitment agency. But when the service again was advertised on the board over the christmas holidays, she got nothing to know.

”[the Psychologist] appear to be very well qualified for the service. Of the documents in the case it is not clear that the agency made a qualitative assessment of [her] merit and skill, according to the law on public employment,” writes the board in its decision.

Also the agency's former psychologist in charge appealed the decision and was critical to how the process went. She had left the service because the place of employment would be moved from Kristianstad, sweden to Karlstad and had not received information about a new ad set up with the new place of work in Stockholm. Therefore, she wished that the recruitment would be done or that she would be offered the opportunity to have left the service with the place of work in Malmö or Stockholm.

”the Authority has not communicated to her, as holder of the service, they changed the conditions, and thus have prevented her from showing interest in the service,” the board of Appeal, her attitude.

Rekryteringsmyndighetens head of department Marcus Hammarnäs stood as the contact person when the ad was put up on the notice board at the end of december 2017. He had himself only been on the authority in a few months when he was with and employee the new chefspsykologen.
