Why are the mothers always have to be so Evil?

This is for an actor of Horror, usually. He comes to a new theatre, the ambitions, as now, the Schauspielhaus Zürich under Nicolas Stemann and Benjamin von Blomberg. And the First thing the actor does: He plays the dwarf in the Christmas tale. Tip of the hat on! This is all happening now with "snow white" on-the-go: Everyone plays a dwarf. And this is perhaps the best thing that can happen to a beginning.

"snow white," extra "Beauty Queen", is a matter for the boss. "I've long wanted to do, once again, a children's piece," says Director and master of the house, Nicolas Stemann; long time ago since the first Time. His daughter is now seven, he has always told tales and plays – the "snow white".

Such questions are perhaps. The Theater gives a different answer. "I think the fairy tale for children. The Nice thing about this work is that such a pointed strength find is not so Central," says Stemann. He has written a new piece. And also a couple of things changed. For example, the deer discussed here for a long time with the hunter about his victim: "You want to of snow white, the organs, and not of me." What to do? You can buy vegan liver, and all is well.

Now is the end of fairy tales

it is especially Stemann has introduced a storyteller who has enough of a fairy tale: He wants to talk about the truth in the world. Such solutions offers Stemann for the presence of a fairy tale. "I have noticed in this work, how nice it may be naive to thing answer." His view of the story is interesting for small people. And also for large. Since Stemann makes no difference.

The Director's Cut of "snow white", as a Version for adults, announced in December, is just a little bit longer and is played in the evening. "When I'm with adults, I do actually, children's theatre," says Stemann. Not the content, of course. The claim, however, remains the same: The audience can experience the whole time. It looks: Even dwarfs started big.
