The royal dramatic theatre's managing director Eirik Stubø responds to the criticism

In an exclusive interview with the DN explains the actor Julia Dufvenius that she lacks confidence in its director Eirik Stubø. According to the actor, which is included in the royal Dramatic theatre's permanent ensemble, working failed to come to grips with the problems of health and safety.

the DN has in vain sought a telephone interview with Eirik Stubø, who instead choose to answer questions in writing via the royal Dramatic theatre's press service.

" No man in any workplace should have to feel threatened and feel the need to be accompanied because of their fear of a colleague. It is of course completely unacceptable. I neither can or should speak in the media in individual personnel matters, but I will talk with the actor who had spoken out.

" I have worked with theatre for many years – and I have eaten dinner with many people in the industry, even this actor.

– It was not the time to go on tour but it was most important to focus internally and on the staff.

the royal dramatic theatre's lost many people's trust and I'll do anything to restore that trust.

" It is many years of work problems and feelings that now come to the surface. My responsibility is first and foremost about creating a climate where all employees feel safe to highlight the problems they are experiencing are at the royal dramatic theatre and that together we will find a way forward, where we create a safe and respectful work environment. I look seriously at the situation and it is now my responsibility to ensure that the royal dramatic theatre is a safe and good place to work.

ask a few questions to Eirik Stubø outside Radiohuset in Wednesday morning. Also then, he was asked about why he chose to renew the actor's behalf.

"We made an assessment that he would be able to finish their working relationship on the royal dramatic theatre with a minor task at the theatre in those days," answered Eirik Stubø then.
