The 97-year-old Prince Philip, duke of Edinburgh, has Thursday been involved in a traffic accident.
According to Buckingham Palace is queen Elizabeth's man, however, escaped from the accident without major injuries. It remains to be seen whether the prince himself was behind the wheel when the accident occurred.
In an official press release from the british monarchy sounds it simply:
'the Duke of Edinburgh has been involved in a traffic accident with another car.'
the Accident was said to have happened close to prince philip's estate in Sandringham, where he has resided since christmas. The prince's Land Rover has subsequently been investigated by the police, shall notify to the crown at the same time.
According to the BBC journalist Nicholas Witchell, who has spoken with eyewitnesses to the incident, rolled the prince's Land Rover around. Prince Philip was subsequently helped out while he looked right shaken, sounds messages.
There is supposed to have been two persons in the other car from the accident. They have both been treated for minor injuries, writes the BBC.
