Get in the Swedish Academy want to party without winners

Despite the fact that the in the year not handing out any literature prize, the Swedish Academy members, as usual, been invited to the nobel Banquet. But according to the Swedish Academy's permanent secretary Louise Hedberg it is, however, only Horace Engdahl, Tomas Riad and Sara Danius who will represent the Academy at the banquet. Sara Danius – who also is a member of the board of the Nobel foundation – sit at the honnörsbordet. Kjell Espmark has not notified the Swedish Akademens office if he will.

for the DN that he has declined to both the Banquet and the awards ceremony. He stresses that he is disappointed in both the Nobel foundation and the media.

Since the Swedish Academy does not share out a prize in the year it is just the Academy's permanent secretary Anders Olsson and Sara Danius who have places on the podium during the awarding ceremony. Even Horace Engdahl is expected to participate in the ceremony, according to Louise Hedberg, but this time without a place on the podium.
