From Belgium come the waffles to the butter of the larva

The fight against climate change is about to land on our tables. It speaks from the time of the ecological benefits that would have the food consumption of insects, a source of protein much more sustainable of large mammals like cows and pigs. But still undigested for a large part of western society, where, with a few exceptions, eating insects is still a cultural taboo. In Belgium, however, work to a solution, in which the makeup is there, but not to see: at the university of Ghent in fact, one experiences a new recipe for waffles, the typical sweet waffle appreciated in many countries of northern Europe, in a revised version in place of butter involves the use of larvae to mix the dough, and that in the experiments has convinced consumers the belgians like the traditional one.
