The plan also provides for rules that also cover the fishing possibilities and other measures decided in the framework of the general fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (Gfcm), including, for example, a period of closure for the eel in the Mediterranean and the limits of catch and effort for the stocks of small pelagics in the Adriatic Sea.

Include an autonomous quota for sprat in the Black Sea applicable to Bulgaria and Romania, set at the level necessary to maintain the current level of fishing mortality, and the possibility of fishing for turbot in the Black Sea was decided by the Gfcm.
